LEON BARNARD'S PERFECT HAVEN IN NAMIBIA

This is the way we were all meant to live....
In bright and light and beautiful homes, filled with sunshine and lots of vastness and space.
And yet a lot of us still live in rented accommodation, often cramped spaces, often no garden.
Some of us are very fortunate though to live in such beautiful homes already.  And others of us are not.

Yet - I do believe that someday we'll all have our 'happy ever after' in our 'happy ever after homes'
And until then - I guess the best we can do is to keep being inspiring, and keep being inspired - keep dreaming and keep following your dreams - never give up!  It takes hard work, and a lot of sweat and tears - but one day it will all be worth it.  And keep on sharing whats true to your heart.

Now back to this dream home located in Windhoek, Namibia's capital and home to architect Leon Barnard who also designed this perfect peaceful haven.

"I believe our home should be exposed, it is possible to open it completely. This reflects our position in relation to life. Open and transparent. What you see is what you get." Leon Barnard
'Integration between internal and external areas, minimalism and multi-use spaces guided this perfect getaway.
Realize the simplicity, the essential, the timeless. '

The use of natural materials and a neutral colour palette creates a sense of simplicity and calm.  Lush greenery can be seen and accessed from most rooms and spaces and this in turn creates a seamless integration between the outdoors and indoor areas.  With a minimalist approach to furnishings this is a truly elegant and understated home.
